  • A Note from the Nurse Flu season is upon us. Please understand the importance of keeping your child home if they are sick. This includes if they are fevered. Your child needs to be fever free for 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen before returning to school. Respiratory etiquette is another important aspect of flu/illness prevention. Students are encouraged to cough/sneeze into their arm as opposed to their hands to reduce the spread of germs. As always, hand washing is the most effective way to prevent the spread of germs. Students wash their hands frequently at school using soap and water. Please encourage this at home as well.  Flu vaccinations are available at local health departments, pharmacies and physician offices ...
